Thorn has provided brand new car park lighting for a branch of DIY chain Bauhaus in the Czech city of Liberec. Thorn installed 48 of its CiviTEQ outdoor luminaires. These unobtrusive and cost-effective fittings feature Thorn‘s unique R-PEC optic, which can be customised for the precise light distribution required. The comfortable, natural-looking 4000K colour temperature (with colour rendering index of 70+) compares favourably to other car parks, which often feature much more bluish LED lighting.
The successful installation in Liberec has opened the door to work on further projects with Bauhaus, including indoor and outdoor lighting. Like the lighting of five further Bauhaus parkings in Czech Republic and one in Slovakia.
